The resort

Vallter is situated in the glacial cirque of Morens - Ull de Ter, in the eastern Catalonian Pyrenees, surrounded by peaks exceeding 2.800m above sea level.

 

But Vallter is not just a winter activity resort. Vallter in spring and summer is an ideal place for outdoor mountain activities with different routes and hiking trails suitable for the whole family.

 

Its privileged geographical location allows you to see a unique and exceptional panoramic view, from an altitude of 2,535m you can see the bay of Roses (Costa Brava).

 

The road that gives access from Setcases to Vallter is considered among road cyclists as one of the most demanding mountain passes, with 12 km with ramps of almost 15% and which has been the end of a stage of races such as the Volta Catalunya or Vuelta de España.
